Colloquium with Lorin Sklamberg of The Klezmatics

Lorin Sklamberg is a Grammy award winning singer and multi-instrumentalist. He is also a sound archivist of the YIVO Institute in New York. His talk is about the Semer label, a Jewish-owned record label in the early Nazi years in Berlin that recorded musicians associated with the Kulturbund. Cosponsored by the Jewish Studies Program, the Center for German Studies, and CREEES.
