Doris L. Bergen, the Chancellor Rose and Ray Wolfe Professor of Holocaust Studies at the University of Toronto, will speak about her research, and most recent book, on the approximately 1,000 chaplains who, while accompanying the Wehrmacht forces during World War II, witnessed their atrocities and tried to normalize and legitimate them.
