"Standing Together in Good and in Tough Times: The Transatlantic Relations of Germany and the U.S."

As a part of the 'Transatlantic Futures' Symposium, the European Studies M.A. Program at UVA will be hosting diplomats from the German Embassy in Washington D.C. at 1:00pm on April 11 in the German Conference Room (New Cabell Hall 236).
Dirk Kranen and Antje Frehse of the German Embassy in Washington D.C. will give a presentation about the history and current stance of the German-American relations starting at 1:00pm. At 1:30pm, European Studies students will moderate a panel to ask the visiting ministers questions and offer the UVA community time to inquire about the future of transatlantic relations.
If you're interested, the larger 'Transatlantic Futures' Symposium will be taking place from 10:00am-4:00pm on Friday, April 11 in the German Conference Room (New Cabell Hall 236).
